As a proud parent and Texan, I will always fight to empower parents to make decisions in the best interests of their children, including giving parents the option to choose which school their children attend.
I will never accept biological men participating in women’s sports, or dangerous and irreversible gender modification procedures on minors. I took action to protect our youth by removing children’s access to sexually explicit material at the Victoria Public Library, allowing parents to choose what their kids can access and following the Constitution.

I am committed to defending those rights and will support the agricultural community that provides countless jobs in District 30. In addition, we should not allow hostile governments like China and North Korea to buy our farm and ranch land.

As a small business owner and mayor, I know what it takes to stay on budget, and I have a proven track record of reducing the tax burden on our citizens. Since my first budget as mayor, we consistently lowered the tax rate resulting in an 18% decrease. I will fight to keep property taxes low so hardworking Texans can keep more of their money.

I stand firm in protecting our Second Amendment rights, ensuring law-abiding Texans can safeguard their families and property. Our constitutional freedoms are the bedrock of our security and heritage.
Backing the Blue for a Safer Texas
During my time as Mayor, I increased funding for law enforcement by 10% and set the foundation for a new Public Safety Headquarters building in Victoria. I will continue to back our police and emergency services, ensuring they have the necessary tools to protect and serve our citizens effectively.

I reject Critical Race Theory and so-called Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policies that seek to divide us and categorize individuals by race or other factors. Our educational systems should unite our children under principles of equality and shared opportunity, not separate them into categories of oppressors and oppressed.
Safeguarding the Sanctity of Texas Elections
The integrity of our elections is non-negotiable. I am committed to upholding the reliability of our electoral system and will oppose any measures that could undermine it. I advocate for robust procedures that enhance voting security and transparency, ensuring every citizen’s vote is counted and protected.
Improving Education for Texas’s Tomorrow
I believe our students thrive when parents have education options, including education savings accounts, because they know what is best for their children. I support our current and retired teachers and will ensure they have the resources necessary to give our students the quality education they deserve. On the Crossroads Commission on Education, I worked with the Texas Legislature to make the University of Houston-Victoria a four-year university.

I will advocate for policies that make health care more accessible and affordable, ensuring transparency in pricing and competition in the marketplace. Healthcare decisions should be made by patients and their doctors, not bureaucrats.
